Origin
As part of the “WASP” (Wood Application Service Providing) research project, Fraunhofer IML and the Technical University of Munich, together with other established companies in the wood industry, have developed a modularly expandable, easily accessible communication platform.
The idea: Through improved, transparent communication, logistical processes should be controlled more efficiently.
The software was developed and implemented by Lange & Fendel Software GmbH Prien. The Forestry and Wood Cluster Initiative in Bavaria and the Bavarian State Institute of Forestry continue to support the project in an advisory capacity.
